Badr Abdelatty, Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Migration, held a trilateral meeting in Cairo with Yasmine Fall, Senegalese Minister of African Integration and Foreign Affairs, and Yusuf Tuggar, Nigerian Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Abdelatty expressed Egypt's pride in its strong relations with both Senegal and Nigeria, emphasizing the importance of strengthening trilateral cooperation.
He highlighted the need for coordinated efforts to address regional and international challenges and to foster regional integration among African nations through a strategic vision aimed at achieving the shared interests of the continent’s people.
Abdelatty also outlined Egypt's ongoing initiatives to support development and cooperation among African countries.
The ministers discussed regional issues of mutual concern, focusing on enhancing collaboration in security, sustainable development, and trade to advance the common interests of African nations.
Additionally, they reviewed developments across the continent, including efforts to achieve stability and combat terrorism and extremism.
