Today, the Egyptian Red Crescent launched the "Zad Al-Izza .. From Egypt to Gaza" convoy No. 227, dispatching a fleet of trucks toward the Gaza Strip.

This initiative comes as part of its role as the national mechanism for coordinating aid to the Strip, coinciding with 1,000 days of continuous response to the Gaza crisis.

The convoy loaded tons of comprehensive humanitarian aid, which included over 41,000 food baskets, approximately 400 tons of flour, around 470 tons of medical supplies, relief materials, and therapeutic medicines, as well as over 1,605 tons of petroleum products to operate hospitals and vital facilities in the Strip.

The Egyptian Red Crescent has been present at the border since the beginning of the crisis, as the Egyptian side of the Rafah crossing was never closed.

The organization has maintained its full readiness across all logistical centers, continuing its tireless efforts to deliver humanitarian and relief aid—which has exceeded one million tons—driven by the dedication of more than 65,000 volunteers.
