Egypt Sends 3,000 Tonnes of Aid to Gaza as 'Zad Al-Ezza' Convoys Continue

The Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC) has continued delivering humanitarian assistance to the Gaza Strip through its "Zad Al-Ezza" (Provision of Dignity) convoys, with the latest shipment carrying more than 3,000 tonnes of relief supplies, food, medicines and fuel products.

The aid convoys are entering Gaza under the supervision of the Egyptian Red Crescent as part of Egypt's ongoing humanitarian support for Palestinians.

The latest convoy included thousands of tonnes of food, relief materials and medical supplies, in addition to shipments of petroleum derivatives intended to help address critical shortages inside the enclave.

The Rafah crossing also received a new group of Palestinians returning to Gaza after completing medical treatment at Egyptian hospitals. Egyptian authorities provided free buses to transport the returnees, while the Egyptian Red Crescent offered assistance to elderly people and those with health conditions, including wheelchairs for individuals with limited mobility.

At the same time, the crossing continues to receive successive groups of wounded and sick Palestinians from Gaza. Patients undergo initial medical assessments before being transferred to hospitals in Egypt's North Sinai governorate for specialized treatment.

The ongoing humanitarian operation reflects Egypt's continued efforts to provide medical care and emergency relief to Palestinians affected by the conflict in the Gaza Strip.
