On Tuesday, the Egyptian Metrological Authority (EMA) predicted that Egypt is expected to see a slight rise in temperatures nationwide and mild to warm days over this week after weeks of bad weather in exceptionally cold winter.
In a statement, the EMA added that mild weather will prevail in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the Northern Coast, and North Upper Egypt during the daytime.
Moreover, Meteorologists expect South Sinai and south Upper Egypt will see warm weather. However, all parts across the country will see extremely cold weather during nighttime, with frost expected in Central Sinai and North Upper Egypt.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 18°C in Cairo, 18°C in Alexandria, 17°C in Marsa Matruh, 17°C in Sohag, 17°C in Qena, and 19°C in Aswan.
