The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderately hot weather to prevail in Cairo, and Lower Egypt, during daylight hours on Saturday.
Moreover, extremely hot weather is foreseen to prevail in South Upper Egypt, while North Upper Egypt and South Sinai will see hot conditions, and Northern coasts will see moderate conditions.
It is also predicted that the country will witness a slight decline in the temperature.
Furthermore, Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department at EMA, said that winds will be active in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Northern Coasts, South Sinai, and the south of the country.
It is also predicted that active winds will stir sand and dust in the Gulf of Suez, Gulf of Aqaba, South Sinai, and southwest of the country.
There will also be disruption of maritime navigation in the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea with a wind speed of 60: 70 km per hour, and wave height of 3: 5 meters.
Pleasant weather is predicted to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Northern coasts, and North Upper Egypt, at night.
It is also foreseen that moderate conditions will prevail in Upper Egypt.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 32C in Cairo, 27C in Alexandria, 26C in Marsa Matruh, 35C in Sohag, 38C in Qena, and 40C in Aswan.
