Egypt Sees Extremely Hot Weather on Friday, Cairo 40°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, Northwest Coast, and south of the country, during daylight hours on Friday.

Hot weather is also expected to hit the Northeastern Coast.

Moreover, the wind will be active, stirring sand and dust across the country.

There is also a 20% chance of light rain prevailing in Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, Central Sinai, and Suez Gulf.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height varying between southeast to northwest surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters with northwest surface winds.

Moreover, moderate weather is also expected to prevail across the country, at night.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 40°C in Cairo, 33°C in Alexandria, 25°C in Marsa Matruh, 41°C in Sohag, 42°C in Qena, and 43°C in Aswan.
