Egypt Sees Cold Weather, Rainfall on Sunday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts that the country will continue to experience unstable weather on Sunday.

Cold weather is predicted to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, the North Coast, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours.

Moderately hot weather is also set to prevail in South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.

Furthermore, the country will witness dense fog on some agricultural roads and highways leading to Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, Canal cities, central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.

Light to medium rain is predicted to prevail in the North Coast, North Lower Egypt, Sinai, and North of Red Sea Governorate.

It is also foreseen that light rain to intermittently hit Cairo, North Lower Egypt, Cairo, and the Canal cities.

Meanwhile, extremely cold weather is foreseen to prevail across the country at nighttime, reaching the point of frost in central Sinai.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 17°C in Cairo, 17°C in Alexandria, 17°C in Marsa Matruh, 17°C in Sohag, 19°C in Qena, and 21°C in Aswan.
