Egypt Sees Cold Weather on Saturday, Cairo 20C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) said that cold weather will prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and Northern coasts, during daylight hours on Saturday.

It is also foreseen that North Upper Egypt will see pleasant weather, while South Upper Egypt and South Sinai will see moderate conditions.

Furthermore, Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department at EMA, predicted that the country will be witnessing fog in Cairo and Lower Egypt.

Winds will be active in South Sinai and the south of the country.

There will also be a disruption of maritime navigation in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez with waves will range between 3.5 to55 meters.

It is foreseen that cold atmospheric conditions will prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, the Northern coasts, South Sinai, North and South Upper Egypt.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 20C in Cairo, 19C in Alexandria, 17C in Marsa Matruh, 24C in Sohag, 25C in Qena and 26C in Aswan.

In addition, EMA also revealed in a detailed report that the country will be witnessing fog from Saturday till Thursday, on some agricultural roads close to water areas, leading to and from Cairo. The fog will also prevail in Lower Egypt and North Upper Egypt.
