Egypt Says Farewell to 64th Edition of Belgrade Int’nal Book Fair

Egypt handed over the guest honor book in Belgrade International Book Fair to Romania, which will be the guest of honor for the 65th Edition of Belgrade International Book Fair in 2020.

Amr El-Goueili, Egypt's Ambassador to Serbia accompanied by Dr. Haitham Al-Haj Ali, head of the Egyptian General Book Authority, attended the farewell closing session ceremony.

Other dignitaries included: Dana. Slic, head of the Exhibition Authority, Ivan Karl, Secretary of Culture in Belgrade, and Alina Nita, responsible in the Romanian Embassy in Serbia.

The closing ceremony started by a speech delivered by El-Goueili. He described Serbia as Egyptian eyes, covering the activities of Belgrade International Book Fair,

El-Goueili stressed that Egypt’s participation with three Egyptian books translated into Serbian language.

He added that the bilateral relation with Serbia- over 111 years- have witnessed successful diplomatic relations that were clear today at Belgrade Book Fair.
