Egypt, Saudi Arabia Trade Exchange Records $34 Bln in 5 Years

The indicators of joint trade between Egypt, and Saudi Arabia recorded about $34,273 billion during the past five years.

A number of government reports indicate that Egypt was able to export its products in the Saudi market with a value of about $8,758 billion, while it imported from the kingdom with a value of $25,514 billion, which means that there is a trade deficit between the two countries in favor of the Kingdom with a value of $16,756 billion.

The highest value of Egyptian exports to Saudi Arabia was recorded over the past 5 years was recorded last year, reaching $2.2 billion, $1.9 billion in 2020, and $1.7 billion in  2019.

While the highest value of Egyptian imports from Saudi Arabia was achieved over a 5-year period in 2021, recording $6.9 billion, followed by $5.6 billion in 2018, $5.1 billion in 2019 and $1.6 billion in 2017.

The value of Egyptian exports to Saudi Arabia grew to reach $2.2 billion in 2021, compared to $1.9 billion in 2020, an increase of 17.3%.
