Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan called for an immediate halt to military actions and greater Arab coordination to preserve regional stability during a phone call on Saturday.

The talks focused on the latest regional developments and ongoing regional and international efforts to contain escalating tensions, according to the Egyptian Foreign Ministry.

The two ministers stressed the need to prioritize diplomatic solutions to prevent further escalation, underscoring the importance of dialogue and political engagement in addressing regional crises.

They also agreed on the need to strengthen Arab coordination in support of regional security and stability.
