Egypt, S. Korea U-23 Clash Held to Goalless Draw

Egypt’s U-23 national team clash with South Korea’s U-23 national team ended up with draw (0-0) in the first friendly game within the latest tripartite tournament organized in Egypt. The encounter took place at Al Ahly We Al Salam Stadium.

Including Egypt, Brazil, and South Korea, the tripartite tournament comes as a part of the preparations of the Egyptian U-23 national team before its participation in the Tokyo Olympic Games 2021.

The game witnessed many scoring chances for the Egyptian team by Salah Mohsen in the 39th minute and Ahmed Yasser Rayaan in the 54th minute, unlike the S. Korean team, whose chances were limited in the first half of the match especially an attack in the 14th minute.

S. Korea goalkeeper put in impressive performance during the match as he succeeded in preventing threats of the Egyptian team executed by Karim Al Iraqi and Nasser Maher.

Egypt's U-23 team is scheduled to clash against Brazil on Tuesday.
