On Thursday, Egypt’s Health Ministry reported 883 new coronavirus cases, bringing the country’s total up to 378843.

The total number of COVID-19-related deaths has now reached 21510 nationwide after the ministry announced 10 deaths.

About 542 patients were discharged from quarantine at isolation hospitals, raising the total number of fully-recovered cases to 314994.

It is worthy to mention that Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the spokesperson of the Health Ministry, said that the fourth wave of Coronavirus in Egypt began to fade away.

Abdel Ghaffar added that there are several features that prove the beginning of the fourth wave’s end.

Regarding the process of giving booster vaccine doses, he noted that all people who received the second dose of vaccine six months ago will receive a new message of the place and date of the booster shot.
