Egypt Reports 771 New Coronavirus Cases, 33 Deaths

On Monday, Egypt’s Health Ministry reported 771 new coronavirus cases, bringing the country’s total up to 307,569.

 

The total number of COVID-19-related deaths has now reached 17469 nationwide after the ministry announced 33 deaths.

About 700 patients were discharged from quarantine at isolation hospitals, raising the total number of fully-recovered cases to 259647.

Egypt plans to vaccinate 40 million citizens by the end of the year, representing around 40% of the population.
