Egypt Reports 769 New Coronavirus Cases, 19 Deaths

On Tuesday, Egypt’s Health Ministry reported 769 new coronavirus cases, bringing the country’s total up to 388, 651.

The total number of COVID-19-related deaths has now reached 21, 836  nationwide after the ministry announced 19 deaths.

About 821 patients were discharged from quarantine at isolation hospitals, raising the total number of fully-recovered cases to 323, 001.

Egypt has managed so far to vaccinate around 50 million people against the Coronavirus.

The country’s vaccination campaign started in January using various types of imported and locally made vaccines and vaccinating millions of citizens.
