Egypt received a new batch of Russian trains on Wednesday, within the framework of the largest railway deal signed between Cairo, and Moscow.
The batch was shipped from Russia by sea to the Alexandria port. Moreover, the batch consists of 18 normal vehicles with dynamic ventilation.
It is worth mentioning that, the deal, signed between the Egyptian Railways Authority and Russian-Hungarian Transmashholding company, is the largest in the history of Egypt’s railways, with a value of $1.8 billion.
