Egypt is set to receive a new batch of Russian trains later today Monday, within the framework of the largest railway deal signed between Cairo, and Moscow.
The batch will be shipped from Russia by sea to the Alexandria port.

Moreover, the new batch consists of 22 normal vehicles with dynamic ventilation.
It is worth mentioning that, the deal, signed between the Egyptian Railways Authority and Russian-Hungarian Transmashholding company, is the largest in the history of Egypt’s railways, with a value of €1.16 billion ($1.8 billion).
