Rafah border crossing in North Sinai received a new group of wounded and sick Palestinians arriving from the Gaza Strip on Sunday.
A source at the crossing said the group included 79 people, among them 38 wounded and patients and 41 companions.
Medical teams from the Health Ministry carried out examinations before transferring the patients by Egyptian ambulances to hospitals across the country for treatment.
The source added that this is the 44th group to arrive in North Sinai since the reopening of the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing in February.
Meanwhile, Palestinians who completed treatment at Egyptian hospitals departed Egypt and returned to Gaza through the Rafah crossing after finalizing travel procedures.
