Mohamed Al-Homsani, spokesperson for Egyptian Cabinet, stated that the stance expressed by the Prime Minister (PM) regarding de-escalation in Gaza reflects Egypt’s position since the beginning of the war on the Gaza Strip.
In an exclusive interview with Extra News following the press conference of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, he emphasized that Egypt has repeatedly asserted that military operations in the region cannot continue and that the war must end to stop the bloodshed.
Moreover, Al-Homsani highlighted Egypt’s continuous efforts since the outbreak of the war to achieve a ceasefire.
He also noted that Egypt's Foreign Minister has conducted numerous diplomatic engagements to halt the war on Gaza.
Furthermore, Al-Homsani stressed that continued fighting and military aggression against the Gaza Strip will not lead to any political gains, reaffirming that Egypt's leadership is committed to a peaceful resolution of the Palestinian crisis.
