Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Egyptians Abroad, Dr. Badr Abdelatty, affirmed Egypt’s keenness to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields, provide the necessary support for Guinea’s development plans, encourage Egyptian investments in the Guinean market, and intensify trade exchange between the two countries.
This came during Abdelatty’s meeting with his Guinean counterpart, Morissanda Kouyaté, on the sidelines of the ongoing session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The two ministers discussed ways to develop bilateral relations and strengthen cooperation across multiple sectors.
Abdelatty emphasized Egypt’s commitment to elevating its historic relations with Guinea, praising the deep fraternal bonds between the two nations and their peoples.
He also expressed Egypt’s aspiration to continue coordination and joint cooperation in political, economic, and developmental fields to achieve common interests.
FM further confirmed Egypt’s readiness to provide technical support and capacity-building through the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development, underscoring Egypt’s role in supporting development efforts across the African continent.
In this context, Abdelatty extended an invitation to his Guinean counterpart to participate in the fifth edition of the Aswan Forum for Sustainable Peace and Development, scheduled to take place next October in the city of Aswan.
