Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly hosted Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani for a high-level meeting in the New Administrative Capital. The discussions centered on bolstering cooperation between Egypt and Qatar across multiple sectors, including real estate, trade, industry, and tourism.

Prime Minister Madbouly welcomed Sheikh Al Thani and the accompanying Qatari delegation, emphasizing the significant strides made in Egypt-Qatar relations. He noted the mutual commitment to enhancing collaboration and the fruitful meeting earlier that day between President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Sheikh Al Thani, which reaffirmed both nations' dedication to rapid progress on shared initiatives.

The discussions highlighted key investment opportunities, particularly a major real estate development project along Egypt’s North Coast. Madbouly praised the expertise of Qatari construction firms, whose successful efforts during the FIFA World Cup 2022 demonstrated their capability. He encouraged partnerships with Egyptian companies, particularly those involved in African markets, to tap into the region's growth potential.

Qatar also expressed a strong interest in Egypt’s industrial sector, exploring potential collaborations in manufacturing. Egypt, with its strategic position as a gateway to African markets and extensive free trade agreements, offers Qatari investors access to a broader global network for exporting industrial products.

Tourism and hospitality were also key discussion points. Qatar showed interest in investment opportunities in Egypt’s North Coast, as well as projects in Greater Cairo and the New Administrative Capital. Madbouly assured the delegation of Egypt's readiness to facilitate partnerships and expedite agreements in these areas.

Additional areas of cooperation included logistics and port development. Qatar expressed a desire to invest in data centers, with Egypt proposing several high-potential projects in New Alamein and Greater Cairo, supported by abundant energy resources.

Madbouly highlighted ongoing efforts to enhance cooperation, stating Egypt’s openness to swiftly advancing shared goals across all discussed sectors. Both sides recognized the potential for significant mutual benefits through strategic partnerships, reflecting the strong foundation and forward-looking vision for Egypt-Qatar relations.
