Egypt Provides Comprehensive Medical and Humanitarian Support at Rafah Crossing

Egyptian authorities have intensified medical and humanitarian support efforts at the Rafah crossing in conjunction with the official reopening of the border, ensuring organized and safe movement for Palestinian families returning to Gaza and patients requiring medical care.

Medical teams have been deployed to provide healthcare services to wounded and ill Palestinians, while logistical arrangements have been made to accommodate families arriving from Al-Arish and Sheikh Zuweid before crossing into Palestinian territory.

Special attention has been given to women, the elderly, and persons with disabilities, with mobility assistance and organized transport provided to ease their passage. Humanitarian aid operations have also continued, including the distribution of hot meals, medical supplies, and essential relief kits containing winter clothing, food items, and children’s necessities.

These efforts are part of Egypt’s ongoing role in supporting Palestinians since the beginning of the crisis, aiming to address urgent humanitarian needs and facilitate safe and dignified movement through the Rafah crossing.
