President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi has recently directed the establishment of an international city for cars on Egyptian land, on the “Ain Sokhna-Katameya” road, next to the New Administrative Capital.
The city of includes exhibitions and yards for used and new cars, and an integrated set of high-level services, including inspection and maintenance centers and spare parts, as well as shops, administrative buildings, banks, and real estate offices.
The plans take into account providing customers with public utilities, rest houses, restaurants, and highways, in order to accommodate the expected influx of visitors and meet all their needs.
The motor city will be built on an area of 57 acres. It can accommodate about 4000 cars and has 6 parking spaces on an area of 12.5 acres
The city also includes a network of internal roads equipped at the highest level, in addition to Civil Register services to record sales operations
The city also houses branches of banks and finance companies to facilitate credit
It has a building for civil protection and ambulances, as well as buildings dedicated to exhibitions of new cars, as well as various agencies.
It is expected that the city will include all the agencies of various car brands such as Korean, Japanese, Chinese, European, American, and others, in addition to most of the distributors in Greater Cairo.
Cairo Governorate is currently working on the construction works of the new car city, which will be located on the "Katameya - Sokhna" road while continuing to prevent the licensing of car showrooms within the residential block.
