Egypt Participates in Int'l Tourism Exhibition IFTM TOP RESA in France

Egypt's Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented by the General Egyptian Authority for Tourism Promotion, is participating in the international tourism fair IFTM Top Resa, in Paris from October 3 -5.

The opening of the Egyptian pavilion was done by Ambassador Alaa Youssef and Mr. Amr El-Kady, CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion.

The event was also attended by Ms. Lydia Ali, Counselor at the Egyptian Embassy in France, and Professor Rami Nazmi, Director of the Central Office for France and the Benelux Countries at the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion.

During the exhibition, Mr. Amr El-Kady emphasized the significance of participating in such an important professional exhibition in the French market.

"It was an excellent opportunity to meet with officials, decision-makers, tour organizers, representatives, and officials of tourism and airline companies to promote Egypt's tourism."

He also highlighted the importance of the French market, which is one of Egypt's most important target markets.

The CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion held several professional meetings with tour operators and tourism company officials operating in the French market.

The discussions focused on ways to enhance cooperation to attract more tourist traffic from France, and the indicators of tourist traffic coming from the market were reviewed.

Moreover, El-Kady talked about the latest developments and improvements in the tourism industry in Egypt, as well as the incentives provided by the Ministry to push incoming tourism from various countries, including the aviation incentive program launched last May.

The pavilion included two hotels, nine tourism companies, and two airlines, covering an area of 124 square meters. The components, patterns, and tourism products of the Egyptian tourist destination, the tourist and archaeological sites it offers, and the tourist activities that can be enjoyed during a visit were also showcased.
