Egypt made sure to provide possible aspects of care for foreign nationals coming to the country for tourism purposes.
In light of the current events in the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, the Egyptian government continues to provide the necessary assistance and support to Ukrainian tourists, whose periods of tourism programs in Egypt have ended.
Ambassador Nader Saad, the official spokesperson for the presidency of the Council of Ministers, stated that the aspects of support provided by the Egyptian government are: Extending the period of stay for Ukrainian tourists, whose stay in the country has ended in the same hotels, residing in them, and the cost of accommodation has been borne.
Saad added that it was also agreed to operate flights from the two companies (Egypt Air and Air Cairo); to transport the Ukrainian tourists to operate flights to Ukraine's neighboring countries, which Egypt bears the cost of the flights similar to the cost of extending residence.
According to that, about 4000 Ukrainians tourists have been transported so far, and the flights are continuing to operate to alleviate the suffering of the Ukrainian tourists.
