Egypt has expressed its sincere condolences to the Swiss government and people over the victims of the tragic fire that broke out in Crans-Montana, resulting in a large number of fatalities and injuries.
In a statement on Thursday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates, Egypt affirmed its full solidarity with Switzerland in this painful humanitarian circumstance.
Egypt also conveyed its heartfelt sympathy to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
About 40 people were killed and around 115 others injured in a fire at a New Year’s party in a Swiss ski resort bar, according to police.
