Egypt extended its heartfelt condolences to the Philippines over the victims of Typhoon Rai that hit the country's southern regions, killing and injuring dozens of people, and causing heavy property damage.
"Moreover, Egypt offered condolences to the families of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery for the injured," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
Egypt also affirmed full solidarity with the government and people of Philippines in this tragedy, the statement read.
