Today, Friday, Egypt offered its sincere condolences to the sisterly State of Palestine, its leadership, government and people, over the death of the great national fighter Farouk Al-Qaddoumi, who set the most wonderful examples of sacrifice in defense of Palestinian rights.
Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid, the official spokesman for the ministry of foreign affairs, said, “We pray to God to have his mercy over his soul and grant his family and the Palestinian people patience and solace.”
Palestinian leader Farouk Al-Qaddoumi - one of the founders of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement "Fatah" - died yesterday in the Jordanian capital, Amman, at the age of 93 years.
