Beginning on Sunday in Cairo, the first meetings of Egypt's National Dialogue committees will centre on topics from the political track, such as the House of Representatives, discrimination, and cooperatives in Egypt.

On Sunday, there will be four sessions specifically for the political track of the dialogue.

The House of Representatives election process will be covered in two segments.

As part of the agenda for the Committee on Human Rights and Public Freedoms, the issue of eliminating all forms of discrimination will be covered in the third session.

The fourth session of the Committee on Unions and Civil Society will be devoted to discussing the difficulties that cooperatives face.

Mahmoud Fawzy, the secretary-general of the National debate, said in earlier remarks that each session has an agenda and that the total number of speakers will be capped at about 30. He added that this number must not be exceeded in order to have a genuine debate.
