Dr. Assem Al-Jazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, accompanied his counterparts, Arab ministers of housing and construction, and heads of Arab delegations, on an expanded visit to the various projects in the New Administrative Capital (NAC), as part of the activities of the second day of the Seventh Arab Housing Conference, entitled "Towards Smart Sustainable Cities that Achieve Quality of Life." which is hosted by Egypt on the sidelines of the 39th session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Housing and Construction.

The minister explained that the NAC projects created about 5 million direct and indirect job opportunities.

The minister, and his Arab counterparts, moved to the highest point in Africa (the viewing platform on the 74th floor of the iconic tower), where he gave them a full explanation of the components of the NAC, from the reality of observation, as the view from the top of the iconic tower allows viewing most of the components of the first phase in the capital.

This area covers an area of 40,000 acres, including various residential neighbourhoods, and 7 operating international universities, as the directives of the political leadership confirmed that universities operating in the new administrative capital should be branches of international universities in partnership with Egyptian universities.
