On Wednesday, Egypt expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the friendly Czech and to the families of the innocent victims of a two-train collision. Egypt also wished a speedy recovery for all the injured.
Three people were killed in the Czech on Wednesday when a Munich-to-Prague express train raced past a stop signal and crashed with a local commuter service, according to officials.
According to the regional rescue agency, eight people were critically injured, and some were flown to a hospital by helicopter from the crash site near the western Czech village of Milavce.
According to a Czech medical service coordinator, ten German passengers with minor injuries were transferred by ambulance to German hospitals. In total, about 50 passengers sustained minor injuries that did not necessitate emergency medical attention.
The three people killed, according to a police spokeswoman, were the drivers of the two trains and a passenger, all of whom were Czech.
In a tweet, Transport Minister Karel Havlicek said: "The Ex 351 went through a signal indicating Stop...and collided with a passenger train."
The trains collided in Milavce, 140 kilometres (85 miles) southwest of Prague, shortly after 8 a.m. (0600 GMT).
According to a spokeswoman for Ceske Drahy (Czech Railways), which operates both trains, the fast train collided with a local train travelling from Plzen to Domazlice.
