The Foreign Affairs Ministry mourned the passing of Mohamed Al-Gharawi, Assistant Administrative Attache at Egypt's embassy in Sudan, on Monday.
In a statment, the ministry extended its deep sorrow and grief over Al-Gharawi's death, noting that the Egyptian diplomatic mission and offices in Sudan will continue to do their duties amid very complicated circumstances in the neighboring Arab country.
It's worth mentioning that the heavy fighting between troops from the national army and a powerful rival militia known as the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) erupted eight days ago and has had a devastating impact on foreign delegations and civilian life across Sudan.
