Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly attended the launch of the second edition of Egypt’s State Ownership Policy Document for the 2026–2030 period during an event held at the government headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.
The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Information and Decision Support Center Osama El Gohary, along with ministers, economic experts, journalists, and media figures.
Earlier in the day, the Cabinet approved the updated State Ownership Policy Document and reviewed its executive plan, which outlines targeted sectors and implementation priorities for the coming years.
Officials said the plan includes several major reform programs aimed at improving governance, expanding private-sector participation, and advancing institutional and economic reforms.
The updated document also takes into account potential risks and implementation challenges, with mechanisms for monitoring, evaluation, and risk management designed to support effective execution and achieve the planned objectives.
