Egypt's Labor Minister Hassan Raddad arrived in Geneva on Saturday to participate in the 114th session of the International Labor Conference (ILC), organized by the International Labour Organization (ILO) from June 1 to 12, 2026.

Raddad was received at Geneva International Airport by Egypt's Permanent Representative to the United Nations and International Organizations in Geneva, Ambassador Alaa Hegazi, according to an official statement.

The minister is leading Egypt's tripartite delegation to the conference, which includes representatives of the government, employers and workers. The annual gathering is considered the world's largest international forum dedicated to labor and employment issues.

During the conference, the Egyptian delegation is scheduled to take part in plenary sessions and meetings of technical committees addressing a range of labor-related topics. Raddad will deliver Egypt's official statement and hold a series of bilateral meetings with international officials and labor ministers.

The talks are expected to focus on strengthening cooperation in the areas of employment, vocational training and social protection, as well as exchanging expertise on labor market policies and workforce development.

On the sidelines of the conference, Raddad will also chair coordination meetings of the Arab Group participating in the event in his capacity as chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Labor Organization.

The International Labor Conference brings together representatives of governments, employers and workers from the ILO's member states to discuss global labor challenges and adopt international labor standards.
