Badr Abdel Atty, Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Migration, began his visit to Kuwait by meeting with Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ambassador Tamim Khallaf stated that Minister Abdel Aty conveyed the greetings of Egypt’s President to the Emir of Kuwait and the Crown Prince.
FM also delivered a verbal message from the President to the Emir, emphasizing the deep historical and fraternal bonds between the two nations and exploring ways to further strengthen bilateral relations.
Discussions also covered the latest regional and international developments and the mutual political will of both leaderships to broaden the scope of cooperation.
Moreover, Abdel Atty expressed Egypt’s commitment to enhancing collaboration and coordination with Kuwait and maintaining the regular convening of institutional frameworks to elevate their bilateral relationship.
Furthermore, he highlighted Egypt’s eagerness to enhance economic, trade, and investment ties, given the ambitious measures taken by the Egyptian government to attract investments and implement economic reforms. He pointed to the potential for Kuwait to benefit from Egyptian expertise in infrastructure projects.
FM also reaffirmed Egypt’s full support for Gulf security, underscoring its integral role as part of Egypt’s national security.
