Egypt's Foreign Minister (FM) Sameh Shoukry is set to hold talks later today, Monday, with his Jordanian and Palestinian counterparts; Ayman Safadi and Riyad Al-Maliki in Cairo.
The official talks will focus on the Palestinian cause’s latest developments, according to the Middle East News Agency (MENA).
The meeting will take place at the Tahrir Palace, downtown Cairo.
In September, Cairo hosted a summit between Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Jordan's King Abdullah II, and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
It is worth mentioning that Shoukry chaired on Sunday the meeting of the standing committee for follow-up on Egyptian African relations, according to Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Hafez.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the various ministries and relevant governmental bodies as well as the private sector.
