On the occasion of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's visit to India, the two sides issue a joint statement, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.
The statment includes an emphasis on upgrading their bilateral relations to the level of a "strategic partnership" that covers the political, security, defence, economic and energy fields.
