A plane runs by East Jet company was en-route to Bristol was forced redirect its itinerary when it head for Bristol.
The flight was forced to redirect to Gatwick Airport near London last night after a passenger required "urgent" medical care.
The easy Jet flight had been travelling from Hurghada, Egypt, to Bristol when a passenger fell unwell.
Flight EZY6294 had been due to arrive in Bristol at 11.20pm last night (December 29).
However, it landed at Gatwick shortly before 11pm so the passenger could receive medical assistance.
Medical services tended to the passenger on arrival.
The severity of the passenger's condition is not currently known.
After all passengers left the plane, onward travel to Bristol was arranged.
The flight is believed to have successfully arrived in Bristol at 3.35am this morning, more than four hours behind schedule.
The airline previously apologized to passengers for all disruption caused by the unexpected incident. They admitted the issue was "out of their control."
