Under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Egypt is set to host the third edition of the International Defense and Military Industries Exhibition (EDEX 2023) from December 4 to 7 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo. This event is a significant platform for showcasing the latest military technologies and equipment in land, sea, and air warfare. Over 400 exhibiting companies from 46 countries are expected to participate.
EDEX 2023 will feature major Egyptian and international companies in the defense sector, displaying cutting-edge equipment, technologies, and security systems. The exhibition includes 22 international pavilions from countries like the USA, China, India, South Korea, France, Germany, Italy, Greece, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Brazil, Romania, Czech Republic, Serbia, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and host country Egypt.
Organized by AWE, a global leader in organizing major international events, in collaboration with Egypt's Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Military Production, and the Arab Organization for Industrialization, EDEX is the only defense and security event in the Middle East and Africa and the largest in Africa. It offers a unique opportunity for visitors to view the latest defense technologies, equipment, systems, and military products. High-level military delegations from over 100 countries have been invited to the exhibition, which is expected to attract over 35,000 visitors from the defense industry sector.
EDEX will feature top companies specializing in various defense and security systems, including ground vehicles, air defense, coastal defense, shipbuilding, maintenance, cyber security, missile systems, unmanned systems, parachuting, satellite communication, search and rescue systems, surveillance, tactical equipment, training and simulation, and other sectors. This exhibition provides an opportunity to explore the latest innovations across various fields.
