Egypt Hosts “NewSpace Africa 2025

The Egyptian Space Agency officially launched the “NewSpace Africa 2025” conference on Monday, at its headquarters in Cairo. 

Running from April 21 to 24, the four-day event serves as a pivotal platform aimed at empowering Africa’s economy through space innovation.

"NewSpace Africa" is an international forum that brings together leading figures from the space industry, commercial space companies, investors, and key stakeholders in satellite and space technologies.

Africa’s space sector is experiencing remarkable growth, with its market value reaching $19.49 billion in 2021. It is projected to grow by 16.16%, reaching $22.64 billion by 2026. The continent is now home to more than 270 space-focused startups developing cutting-edge technologies and offering space-enabled services to meet the diverse needs of various markets.
