The foreign ministers of Egypt, France, Oman, and Iran, along with U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff, have stressed the urgent need to de-escalate tensions in the region

The officials emphasized the importance of prioritizing diplomatic solutions and implementing political settlements that support regional security, underscoring that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable path to overcoming the current crises.

They also agreed on the need to launch the work of the Palestinian technocratic committee as soon as possible, describing it as a key step toward strengthening Palestinian national unity. The discussions further highlighted the importance of achieving an Israeli withdrawal from Gaza and deploying an international stabilization force to ensure the protection of civilians and support the implementation of political and security agreements.

The meeting reflects growing international and regional efforts to contain escalating tensions and prevent further instability, while reinforcing calls for coordinated action to promote peace, security, and stability across the region.
