Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry is set to hold a quadrilateral meeting with his Greek, Cypriot, and French counterparts in Athens tomorrow, Friday.
During the meeting, the four ministers will address developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Middle East, Libya, the Gulf, the Sahel, and the issue of Cyprus.
Furthermore, Shoukry, Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias, Cypriot Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides, and French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian are going to touch upon cooperation in the energy sector.
The quadrilateral meeting will also tackle other international challenges, including the pandemic, migration, and climate change.
Following the gathering, Dendias and Le Drian will hold a separate meeting to discuss bilateral relations in light of the recent signing of the defense and security agreement between the two countries.
Last week, the Egyptian Foreign Minister visited Washington to hold strategic talks with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken. He welcomed the outcomes of the dialogue, highlighting the huge potentials for developing relations between the two countries in various fields.
