On Tuesday, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it had finalized all legal procedures required for transferring the body of Egyptian pharmacist, Ahmed Hatem, who was shot by a Saudi woman in the Sakaka area of Al-Jawf Governorate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.
In a statement, the ministry said that this came thanks to the continuous follow-up by its consular department, and the huge efforts made by the Embassy and Consulate of Egypt in Riyadh.
It added that the body of the deceased pharmacist is expected to land in Egypt tomorrow morning.
The ministry added that they had contacted the family of the victim, and offered its condolences to them.
According to what was reported by Egyptian media, the 34-year-old Egyptian pharmacist, Ahmed Hatem, was working in a pharmacy in the Sakaka area of Al-Jawf Governorate, and he died on Wednesday after a Saudi woman shot him inside the pharmacy where he works.
