Egypt expressed its condolences and sympathy to the government and people of the United States following a severe snowstorm that struck several states and resulted in dozens of fatalities, in addition to significant damage to property and infrastructure.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates said Egypt stands in solidarity with the United States during this difficult humanitarian situation.
Egypt also extended condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.
