Egypt Ambassador in Conakry Tamer Kamal El-Meligy met on Sunday, with Guinean Prime Minister (PM) Bernard Jomo to discuss ways to boost joint cooperation between both countries.
At the outset of the meeting, Guinean PM expressed his country's deep appreciation and gratitude for the historical role that Egypt has played and is still playing in supporting Guinea and the whole African continent.
He also pointed out that Egypt was one of the most supportive countries for Guinea in its quest for independence from the French occupation.
On his part, El-Meligy affirmed Egypt's interest in developing and strengthening cooperation with Guinea in various fields, including the economic and commercial field, reviewing the experiences of large Egyptian companies in various sectors, especially those related to development.
