In line with Egypt’s steadfast commitment to supporting fellow African nations during times of crisis, the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development (EAPD), in cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population, has dispatched a shipment of medicines and medical supplies to both the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda.

This initiative aims to support ongoing efforts to contain the Ebola outbreak and enhance the healthcare response in the affected regions.

This initiative is an extension of Egypt's vision, which views health security as a shared responsibility and believes that solidarity among the continent's nations represents the first line of defense against transboundary health challenges.

The EAPD reaffirms its commitment to continuing its role in supporting partners through developmental and humanitarian initiatives.

These efforts reflect a deeply rooted Egyptian approach based on partnership, solidarity, and collective response, striving for a more resilient and prepared Africa in the face of crises.
