Egypt Detects Few Omicron's Iris, Pyrola Cases, Says Official

Dr. Jehan Al Assal, a Professor at Ain Shams University and the Deputy Head of the Scientific Committee for Fighting Coronavirus, that a few numbers of cases of the new mutations of Omicron were detected in Egypt like Pyrola, and Iris.

The new variant EG.5.2 is weaker than the previous mutations. The new variant doesn't need further protective procedures.

There is an accurate detective process for viruses and mutations.

Moreover, the majority of those symptoms are simple and moderate, adding that the patient needs to stay at home for 2 or 3 days, and stick to simple medications, without having any antibiotics.

She also recommended the necessity of receiving flu, cold, and COVID-19 vaccines for old people, and those who are a high risk.
