Egypt Offers Condolences to Lebanon over Drowned Tripoli Boat

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt expressed its sincere condolences to Lebanon over the tragic accident of a boat that sank near the shores of the Lebanese Tripoli, which left dozens of people killed and injured.

“The government and people of Egypt also offer sincere condolences to the government and people of Lebanon and to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to all the injured ones,” the statement said.

It added that Egypt asserts the importance of exerting efforts by international parties to stop the phenomenon of illegal immigration that hurts the whole humanity.
