Egypt has condemned the terrorist bombing that targeted Mar Elias Church in Damascus, which resulted in a number of innocent casualties and injuries.
In an official statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, Egypt extended its deepest condolences to the brotherly Syrian people and the families of the victims, wishing a swift recovery to those injured.
The statement reiterated Egypt’s firm rejection of all forms of violence, extremism, and terrorism.
Egypt also reaffirmed the importance of regional and international cooperation to eliminate terrorism, dry up its sources, and confront the criminal acts that aim to destabilize security and stability.
