Egypt expressed on Sunday its strong condemnation of the terrorist attack that targeted the governor's convoy in Yemen's southern port city of Aden on Sunday killing at least five people.
Egypt extended its sincere condolences to the government and people of Yemen, , and to the families of the innocent victims, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured, expressing its solidarity and support for Yemen in confronting terrorism.
Egypt called on all Yemeni parties to renounce violence and uphold the higher interest of the Yemeni people away from any private agendas, in order to push forward a comprehensive political settlement in a way that fulfills the aspirations of the Yemeni brothers towards a prosperous homeland.
